CONQUEST OF PARADISE TOUR (12 days / 13 nights)
JHB - Northern Drakensburg - Lowveld - Kruger Park - Swaziland - Kwazulu Natal - Wild Coast - Garden Route - Route 62 - Cape Town

This is the "Big One"; enjoy the magnificence of the absolute best of South Africa. Starting in Johannesburg, the tour begins with a bang as the ride heads east meandering down into the lush Lowveld bushveld and the myriad of excellent mountain passes via much of the Lowveld Legend route; including Kruger Park excursion. Then it's into Swaziland, often dubbed 'Switzerland in Africa' before heading back into South Africa and down through Zululand (Kwazulu Natal). After touching on the Durban metropolis the lush untamed 'Wild Coast' will be traversed. Just as you regain your breath the world famous Garden Route looms in your visor. Often referred to as the world in one country, you would be forgiven to think that you've seen it all… until the mountainous Route 62 meanders before you. Finally Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula will be your Oyster as you ride in via possibly the world's most spectacular coastal route (R44 to Gordon's bay via Betty's Bay - see 'Long Way Down' final episode). The fairest Cape has been reached and you have Conquered Paradise.
Accommodation
Accommodation is diverse and ranges from Guest Lodge to Guesthouse to Bush Camp to Boutique Hotels.  Most accommodations are on suite bathroom (except the rustic but very comfortable Bush Lodge)

Meals
Your two main meals p/day will be inclusive of the cost.  Meals have always enjoyed rave reviews from our clients.  Diversity is the name of the game, your dinning will range from a traditional South African Braai (BBQ) in the bush to candlelight dinner with exclusive SA wine for the discerning pallet or even “bunny chow” (a localised hand eaten curry take out meal) in Durban
In a nutshell
“The Conquest”, a two week tour taking in the best South Africa has to offer.  Riding out from Johannesburg the tour heads east towards the legendary lowveld (see Lowveld Legend Tour brochure).  A day safari from the vantage point of an open safari vehicle into the Kruger National Park will allow the riders to experience the Big 5 up close in their natural habitat.  This day is encapsulated with a rustic, yet comfortable’ stay in a Bush Camp bordering the Park.  Your epic adventure, however, has just begun.  After the African Bush Camp experience we trace a pathway Southwards, all the while enjoying a myriad of amazing mountain and pass riding.  We will enter and exit the planets last ruling monarchy of Swaziland.  Swaziland has often been referred to as “Switzerland in Africa” due to it’s beautiful mountains and landscapes.  The roads however are un-congested with the traffic usually associated with Europe.  Plunging back into the Zululand bushveld our ride will soon meet the Indian Ocean at the St Lucia Estuary, this natural ecosystem is considered a protected national treasure.  Continuing through Zululand and touching on the large port city of Durban before riding through to Oribi Gorge.  The coastal leg stretches down through the aptly named Wild Coast, a rural area almost untouched by development, we will spend a night on the Wild Coast.  Leaving the Wild Coast we move inland to the Eastern Cape Mountains riding up to Hogsback.  We’ll then head onto the scenic splendour of the “Garden Route” tracing the coast line.  After “The Garden” its inland onto “Route 62”, the scenery changes as we move into the arid rugged beauty of the little Karoo .  After a superb day on “the route” we head back to the coast and the southernmost point in Africa, Cape Agulhas.  Having taken your breath back it’ll be time for the coup de grace; the spectacular coastal ride via Hermanus and Betty's Bay to the fairest cape and the city of Cape Town…  The final day will be spent exploring the beautiful Cape Peninsula (Cape Point, Chapman’s Peak and a wine farm).  Paradise has been conquered…
